15 Januari 2008; Virtual Proteins and Foldyne start collaboration
Virtual Proteins and Foldyne join forces to integrate Foldyne's FoldSolvers protein-protein docking module into MicroLab.
It is expected that the combination of Foldyne's thermodynamic protein-protein docking technology and real-time 3D visualisation
and manipulation in MicroLab will guide the lab scientist to model and design his protein interactions in a realistic and
ultra-fast manner.
19 December 2007; Delft University of Technology and Foldyne file patent on determination of biomolecular structure
Collaboration between Delft University of Technology and Foldyne has resulted in filing of a key patent in computational structure determination of
biomolecular systems. The patent will ensure the advanced position of Foldyne in thermodynamic docking of compounds to biopharmaceutical
targets and protein-peptide recognition.
Foldyne envisages that use of the proprietary technology will lead to improved service performance and in addition will strongly support Foldyne's
next drug development programme.
1 December 2007; Foldyne selects winning anti-inflammation compound
Foldyne has succefully completed its virtual screening project on p38 alpha MAP kinase inhibition. By using a kinase
focussed library of 5000 active compounds and Foldyne's proprietary thermodynamic docking technology, the winning compound
has been selected and validated. The particular flexible active site of the kinase facilitated Foldyne to prove that
thermodynamic docking technology prevails over flexible docking.
11 November 2006; Amsterdam - Dakar Challenge 2006 begins
Foldyne sponsors the Delft student team. Revenues of
the rally will be used for the construction of a professional school in Gambia.
1 July 2006; Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs grants Innovation Voucher to Foldyne
Foldyne has attained an Innovation Voucher which enables the purchase of specialistic knowledge and advice at a Dutch knowledge institution.
The voucher enables Foldyne to achieve a next R&D milestone in a specific "White Biotechnology" project.
21 December 2005; Pyxis Discovery and Foldyne sign research collaboration agreement on P38 kinase inhibitors
Pyxis Discovery and Foldyne have started a collaboration involving dynamic modeling by Foldyne of p38 kinase inhibitors,
which have been designed by Pyxis Discovery. The target p38 kinase plays an important role in the development of various
types of cancer, such as pancreatic and breast cancer. The collaboration, which is partly financially supported by
the Competence Center Life Sciences, comprises advanced
target structure modeling and dynamic docking of novel small molecule ligands that have been developed on the basis
of novel pharmacophore models of p38 kinase inhibitors.
Foldyne company presentation at Bio Taiwan 2005
Foldyne attended the Bio Taiwan 2005, the largest biotech conference & exhibition in Asia, in collaboration with the Netherlands Trade and Investment Office and West Foreign Investment Agency.

Virtual Reality clarifies complex scientific data
Do you want to see how cumulus clouds gather, what happens if Holland's dikes break, how medicine interacts with proteins in your body? Michal Koutek and his colleagues developed a Virtual Reality (VR) environment to visualize data from scientific simulations.
